New Carrara C "Bianco" Marble has just arrived at Stone Connection Australia. The building block of Italy, this marble is a soft white toned marble with muted grey veins that are not quite defined throughout. Carrara is a classic marble great for bathrooms, kitchens, interior floors and walls.

Stone Connection Australia is excited to announce the arrival of our newest version of Rosal limestone in our classic Bourgogne finish. Reminiscent of a classic French farmhouse floor or relaxing beach house hideaway, Bourgogne creates a look both classic and fresh. The stone's colour is light linen with subtle shells scattered randomly throughout. For finish we've given the product a great patina by tumbling and brushing the surface. Through both processes, years of subtle wear and classic sawing of the edges have been recreated thus providing a soft smooth texture under foot. With its refreshing colour palette, Rosal is highly versatile with most modern decor. Suited for both interior and exterior use, Rosal can be carried throughout a project for creating a beautiful and peaceful escape from the headaches of life.

 Bluestone micro-hole slabs and steps have just arrived at Stone Connection Australia. Bluestone is typically used as a description for common stone within an area. For Australia, it most commonly refers to basalt. Basalt is a grey to blue/black volcanic rock, usually fine-grained due to rapid cooling of lava on the earth’s surface. This type of stone is extremely hardwearing and suitable for any application including flooring, stairs, pool copings and kitchen bench tops.

Premium Carrara Bianco C
Marble Tiles

Our new shipment of Carrara Bianco C Marble has been cut from hand selected slabs to ensure the most premium and consistent product. Carrara is a soft white toned Italian Marble with muted grey throughout. Veins are not quite defined, but it is textured. The tiles have a polished finish.

* 605 x 305 x 13mm

Carrara Bianco is a highly recommended marble to be used on interior flooring and walling applications. It is a marble also commonly used on bath design such as basins, shower trays, or even bathroom coverings and also for kitchen splashbacks and as kitchen island benchtops.
 

 

 

 

Grey Wood Vein Marble Slabs

These slabs have been hand selected for their quality of finish, minimal quartz veining and size, making them ideal for kitchen island benchtops, feature walls, and steps.

Approximate sizing of slabs are 2800 x 1400 x 20mm and they have a polished finish.

 

 

 

Gold Jade Marble Slabs 

Gold Jade Marble is a classic rich brown marble with white and gold veins.

The Botticino Marble is one of the most famous beige marbles in the world. It is known for the elegance of its light beige color, its hardness and resistance coupled with low porosity and absorption capacity which make it perfectly suitable for any indoor and outdoor use.

Stone Connection Australia is proud to introduce its new product Gascogne Blue (also known as Moleanos Azul, Mirabella Blue, and Blue Moleanos), originating in Portugal. It is made up of limestone properties, however Gascogne Blue is quarried from a seam where carbon has given the limestone blue pigmentation making it more exclusive due to its source becoming more and more rare to meet worldwide demand.

This stones base colour is light grey with blue clouds that blend with grey fossils. The grey/bluish shades have a cool feel with character that gives off and understated sophistication. Its monochromatic consistency allows it to be used effortlessly for various home and commercial applications such as flooring, walls, and counter tops.

Stone Connection Australia is proud to announce its new arrival Moca Crème Limestone. It originates from Portugal and is characterised by its beige colour, parallel fossil veins and uniform background. The stone has a medium grain with a honed finish, is hardwearing and cost-effective, requiring little maintenance.

Moca Crème Limestone is ideal for wall cladding and both domestic and commercial floorings. As there is not much variance, it leaves a clean canvas to work with various styles and themes. Its neutral, light yet warm and smooth background also makes a beautiful combination with some darker limestones, granites and marbles.

This type of limestone is a top choice among architects and decorators worldwide due to its effective linear structure. Stone Connection Australia is proud to announce its new arrival of Striato Travertine Vein Cut from Turkey.  These tiles are a classic medium shade similar in appearance to the Italian Romano.  Vein-cut is the most classic and enduring look in travertine. Being cut this way, it shows the layers built up over millions of years and gives a lovely linear appearance. Our Vein Cut Travertine comes filled and honed leaving a lovely matte finish.  In addition to the alternative appearance of the cross-cut, vein-cut can be more suitable for heavy traffic areas as the holes are long, narrow and deep vs. the wide, shallow fill found on cross-cut.

Travertine is one of the most frequently used stones in modern architecture and works well with modern interior colour schemes. This stone is durable and commonly used for flooring and wall cladding in all areas, including  some wet areas. When used on walls the veins running across each tile look particularly effective. It is also great for fireplaces, paving patios and garden paths. Two iconic installations within the city are the Ivy Bar and Art Museum.
