Stone Connection Australia is proud to introduce its new product Gascogne Blue (also known as Moleanos Azul, Mirabella Blue, and Blue Moleanos), originating in Portugal. It is made up of limestone properties, however Gascogne Blue is quarried from a seam where carbon has given the limestone blue pigmentation making it more exclusive due to its source becoming more and more rare to meet worldwide demand.

This stones base colour is light grey with blue clouds that blend with grey fossils. The grey/bluish shades have a cool feel with character that gives off and understated sophistication. Its monochromatic consistency allows it to be used effortlessly for various home and commercial applications such as flooring, walls, and counter tops.

It originates from Portugal and is characterised by its beige colour, parallel fossil veins and uniform background. The stone has a medium grain with a honed finish, is hardwearing and cost-effective, requiring little maintenance.

Moca Crème Limestone is ideal for wall cladding and both domestic and commercial floorings. As there is not much variance, it leaves a clean canvas to work with various styles and themes. Its neutral, light yet warm and smooth background also makes a beautiful combination with some darker limestones, granites and marbles.

This type of limestone is a top choice among architects and decorators worldwide due to its effective linear structure. It gains much recognition for its use in masonry and stonework done for interior designing such as columns, fireplaces and basins, as well as garden decorations such as fountains.

Jura Grey Limestone



Jura Grey Limestone has arrived at Stone Connection Australia!

Stone Connection is proud to introduce Jura Grey to its collection of natural stone. Jura Grey is a limestone originating from Germany, formed in the Jurassic period around 180 million years ago. It consists of natural glass/quartz veins and variable fossils on a blue-grey background. The effect it gives off is true classic with a contemporary twist making it perfect for both modern and traditional architecture.

The Jura Grey limestone is a considerably hard limestone preferred for flooring, walls, cladding and diverse stonework. This limestone has gained its reputation for its durability, hardness and favourable technical properties, especially if compared with similar limestones. It is also a limestone with considerable demand on the European and international markets. It is today common to find applications of the Jura Grey limestone on several exterior cladding applications, where it is applied using different posing techniques. The Jura limestone also works wonderfully for masonry, garden decoration and interior decoration for foyers, bathrooms and kitchens.
